Use of Permissions

PassKeep requires certain permissions from its users:

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - This permission enables auto-backup functionality upon booting up the device.

READ & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - These permissions allow built-in file explorer functionality along with backing up DB/CSV files.

SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW - This permission enables floating window functionality.

Important Note

As this application does not use internet connectivity at any point during its operation cycle; if you happen lose your master passkey then unfortunately there's no way recover lost information! Therefore we highly recommend taking advantage of our backup options available within app itself!
