PlumPlayer

PlumPlayer lets you make playlists with the music on your desktop, set playtimes for them, and create slideshows of your photos, as well. Whether you just want to have some musical accompaniment while you work, or you'd like to create a slideshow of your last trip and set it to music, this app gives you the tools you need.

PlumPlayer's intuitive interface makes creating your playlist a snap. If you'd like a little guidance, though, clicking the question mark icon in the lower right-hand corner of the window will cause tips to appear when you hover your cursor over any of the controls. To add music, just select a folder from your computer, and the program will automatically add all music files from that program to your playlist. In the upper right of the window, you'll find the controls for creating and organizing playlists. That's also where you'll see the schedule tab, which displays a list of all of your playlists with options to set them to play at specific times or on specific days.

Clicking the camera icon takes you to the photo loading page, and there you can add any images you choose from your computer to put into a slideshow. The button to play the slideshow is back on the main screen near the controls for playing the music, and you can opt to play the slideshow without musical accompaniment if you choose.
