This simple program securely stores multiple passwords in one easy-to-access place. The rather mundane interface is fairly simple to operate and can be viewed as a floating toolbar if you plan to use it regularly. When adding a new entry, you input information for username, password, URL, and comments. Clicking the globe icon opens the Web page that corresponds to the particular entry, and the lock button restricts access to the program until the proper password is entered. You also can set Password 2000 to lock itself after a specified interval. We really liked the password generator, which can create passcodes of up to 99 characters for extra security. Folks seeking a simple solution for managing their passwords likely will find this program beneficial.
