Review
While you won't be able to create custom tasks, this handy program with its functional interface is nonetheless effective in assigning user-defined hot keys to launch Web sites, applications, and files. We appreciate that Key Launcher can also assign hot keys for doing numerous tasks such as controlling active windows and multimedia settings, launching control panel applets, performing shutdown operations, emptying the Recycle Bin, and sending e-mail to enhance user productivity. The system-tray icon displays at a glance when and what hot key was pressed. On the plus side, users can import, export, and print hot-key lists. Unfortunately, though, Key Launcher doesn't offer options for creating and adding custom tasks to the default list. In spite of this flaw, we think all multitaskers and time-pressed users can benefit from what Key Launcher offers.
