.NET Timer is a simple timer with some enhanced features from the first release like: you can turn the sounds on and off, import your own wave files, hide the Timer from the taskbar, select from several skins, and you can run multiple timers.
Review
This simple countdown timer gets the job done effectively, but is not feature-rich as others you'll find. The colorful, skinnable interface of .NET Timer 2 is straightforward, with three buttons and two input boxes for setting the number of minutes and seconds. We found it very easy to use; after setting the number of minutes and seconds, press start and time begins winding down. You also can pause and stop the timer. Right-click the interface to choose the times at which you'd like to hear an alarm sound: every minute, as the countdown reaches the final 10 seconds, and/or when time has elapsed. You can customize the alarm sounds, but just with WAV files. You won't be able to include any alert messages nor will you be able to set the timer in hours, which are standard features of many apps in this category. Despite its simplicity, you'll have to make sure .NET Framework 1.1 or higher is installed. Anyone seeking an uncomplicated timer application will find that this freeware will suffice.
