Review
Not as zestful as its competitors, this application can protect your privacy by cleaning some Internet and Windows activity traces. We're able to select the areas we want scoured with simple tick boxes on A.S.C's clear interface. The application removes typed URLs, the run history, and other standard areas. In a single click it clears cache and cookies from Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, as well as a number of well-known third-party applications. You can modify your browser's home page, but it lacks the needed protection to ward off browser hijackers. A.S.C doesn't clean junk files and overlooks the need for a scheduling utility to set up automated cleaning tasks. While it has some distinct omissions, and probably won't appeal to the savvier user, this program can cover most users' basic privacy needs.
