Review
This application promises to offer quick access to your commonly-used files and applications, but its claims remained unsubstantiated in our tests.
Tray Folder sits in your system tray, and a right-click on its icon brings up a context menu for accessing the program's functions. Also, the application creates a folder in which you can drag and drop shortcuts to programs and documents. As a result, you have to open this folder via its tray icon and select the program shortcuts you would like to run.
For us, the concept behind this application is different and a bit clumsy compared with other program launchers that really provide quick access to programs. The program does sport a few handy perks, like adding dates and times to any Windows title bar. While this program can also launch programs, experienced users may prefer a faster method of accessing their applications and files.
