Description
Sticky Paper simulates sticky yellow paper notes for office use. The note can be set on top at all times, and its appearance is exactly like real paper, rather than window-like. You can change paper size and color, text color, and font. You can use your mouse to drag the paper anywhere on the desktop. This version has an autosave function, so that Sticky Notes will remain on the desktop after a computer reboot, and resides in your system tray.
Review
Create simple, quick reminders on your desktop with Sticky Paper, but creation of multiple notes may crowd your taskbar. The program docks in your system tray and allows you to create desktop notes via its simplistic interface. Sticky Paper offers some basic choices to customize note color and size. There's also an option to keep notes on top, and you can easily move and resize them as you like. However, when minimized, notes take up taskbar space, which can quickly clutter this area.
Sticky Paper includes a basic alarm, but unlike similar apps, the audio notification is limited to a beeping noise and it won't allow you to choose your own sound file. Sticky Paper is basic in design and functionality; it may serve the casual user but most will probably want a less intrusive and more flexible application.
