Scan and repair errors in your Windows Registry, but don't expect quick results or a quick way to fix select errors. Error Scan and Fix's simple interface is a tad too cute for the workplace, but functions are well identified, and options are simply set. Save for a link to the publisher's Web site, the program lacks a help file.

Operating this utility is very simple. You merely click the areas you wish to scan and press the huge Scan Now button. The program then takes off. Well, "take off" is stretching the point. The program proceeds at a stately pace to delve into your Windows Registry to ferret out problems. A problem with Error Scan and Fix is the small and unfriendly results window. Users can't select or deselect all errors, sort by type or location, or even easily see the list. A major limitation with the demo prevents users from removing the found bugs and errors. That limitation also makes it impossible to test how well the Undo Changes feature performs.

Error Scan and Fix adds nothing new to the many other Registry repair tools. The simple command set, display limitations, and slow scan speed make it easy to recommend you look elsewhere for a more robust and flexible tool.
