Description
Landscape Studio aims to give the user far more control over terrain generation. By making use of several unique technologies it provides a far greater management of both minute and general details over commercial solutions. The program uses a tabbed workspace, allowing the user to work on several projects at once (ala Firefox's tabbed browsing). Terrain Application Mapping is a unique method of generation that applies fractal randomness to a pre-designed height map, based on an application map.
You may create your own terrain generation algorithms, importers, exporters, and plug-ins using Java. Export to several formats including RAW and TER, easily loaded into Terragen where available. Version 0.3 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
