Review
Changing your desktop resolution is quick and easy with Frix QuickRes. Convenient drop-down lists let you assign several screen resolutions for two modes of operation. The interface includes a shortcut button for the Windows display properties menu, and you can save and restore desktop icon positions. Using the system-tray icon, you can quickly switch from your current screen resolution to another. Although we would have liked to see a comprehensive help file to discuss features and resolution issues, Frix QuickRes covers all the other bases. This handy utility is a free, convenient option for people who often toggle between work and videos on their PCs.
