Description
N-Ball is a crazy physics-based 2D platform. In this game you control N-Ball, a kind of ever burning plasma ball, through 40 levels full of platforms, ropes, swings, vehicles and lots of other wierd structures. And with the editor you can also create your own levels or play those made by your friends! A bit tricky at first but lots of fun once you get the hang of it!
Review
In most arcade games you control a paddle that hits the ball through the levels, but in N-Ball Mac, you are the ball. From the makers of Ragdoll Masters, this unique game charges you with controling the ball using only the left and right arrow buttons and the spacebar to jump. The graphics are simple, but very smooth and stylized as you maneuver over and around obstacles, use strange vehicles to travel across expanses, and bounce your way to the goal at the end.
The '70s-disco soundtrack adds to the experience, but after several levels the music starts to get a bit repetitive. Overall, we found this an extremely unique and challenging game. If you like simple arcade games that require some real hand-eye coordination, or if you just want to try something new, this is a great download.
