Description
IESpy is a small utility that allows one to inspect or manipulate the DOM of any IE Web browser control. For example: You can spy on the browser cookies that are currently set within the browser or any iframe. You can peek at the source of the main document and any iframe, even if the right-click menu has been disabled.
Review
Quickly inspect portions of any Web page in Internet Explorer with this tiny tool. IE Spy's dialog interface requires users to drag a star onto the Web page to inspect. Doing so adds options to IE Spy's interface. You then simply click any of the four options to reveal the requested information.
IE Spy's quick inspection tools reveal cookies, links, images, and the page source. The Show Cookies option merely lists the text of cookies applied by the Web page. Show Links, as expected, helpfully lists every link found on the page. They're displayed as clickable links, but unfortunately there isn't a way to export or save the list. The Show Images option displays every image at its original size, which may not be the same size found on the Web page. The Show Source option doesn't color code HTML data, but you can easily copy all or part of the text to your clipboard.
IE Spy is simple to use, quick, small, and an efficient basic Web-page-inspection tool.
