A modern study aid with real advantages, RecallPlus is a boon to students. Installation is a bit of a pain, as you're asked to supply your e-mail address and take a brief survey. But once you start the program, you're free to focus on creating collections ("chapters," in RecallPlus's parlance) of notes containing text, connection arrows, colorful felt-tip-pen graphics, and hyperlinks. You also can import multimedia data from Web sites, e-books, and other digital sources. RecallPlus then tests you on your notes, asking questions at the optimal intervals for memorization. The interface is rather cluttered, but the included tutorial will bring you up to speed in only 20 minutes. Once you know what you're doing, accessing any opened chapter or card is easy. Overall, we recommend RecallPlus to anyone looking for a more efficient and effective study method.
