Description
This basic command-line utility converts U.S. Census Bureau Tiger/Line files (2004 through 2006 First Edition) to ESRI Shapefiles. Extract point, line and polygon features for over 30 different datasets without the need for an ESRI license or external third-party software. Shapefile attributes contain feature names, types, class codes, class descriptions, and other available data. This is a simple program with no need for installing/uninstalling.
