Description
Easy CD-DA Recorder lets you burn audio CDs that can be played in any standard home or car stereo. Just select your MP3s or audio files in 16 other formats, such as WMA (Windows Media Audio), and even WinAmp M3U and PLS playlists, and click Record CD. This program will also create standards-conforming MP3 or Windows Media CDs that contain up to 24 hours of music even if your source files are not currently in MP3 or Windows Media. Required file format conversions are done automatically using intelligent caching to prevent duplicate conversions.
Your composed CD images, that is selected tracks, play order, and so on, can quickly and easily be saved to a XML file for later use. Version 2007 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Review
For the musician or music fan who has millions of audio files, this is one useful and reliable CD-burning tool. Easy CD-DA Recorder creates audio CDs from files in the most popular audio formats, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, and others. The program also can create audio CDs by grabbing playlists created in Winamp. The program interface is well-designed and clear, with obvious buttons for adding files and a playlist, or for editing text. A pop-up window tracks the recording progress. Easy CD-DA Recorder also supports text-enhanced audio CDs and includes a text editor--a feature seldom found in recording software. Overall, this is a reliable program for creating audio CDs for any music fan.
