Description
DopeCode hash allows you to quickly and easily hash files in the system. Right click on a file and choose Hash and you will be presented with a dialog showing you the MD5 and SHA hashes of the file. Copy to the clipboard with one click, or save to a text file. If you have multiple hashes open at the same time, they will show green if they match or red if they don't- they will even automatically check against hashes in the clipboard. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

This handy freeware quickly calculates and displays MD5 and SHA hash codes for your files. DopeCode Hash offers a single-click method through the context menu to calculate both codes. There isn't a Help file for this utility, but even novice users will understand immediately how to use it.
Calculating the hash codes involves right clicking a file and selecting Hash from the menu. The program opens a dialog displaying both the MD5 and SHA codes. Clicking either item copies the code to your clipboard. It's easy to compare the two files. Click one, calculate the hash codes, then click the other. The number displays in green if the hash codes match, and red if they don't.
