Description
With the original idea for this product coming from Apple Mac Stickies, Quik-E Note was designed to quickly store multiple notes in a convenient place (the System Tray). With one mouse-click PC users can hide or display notes, or manage multiple notes with the Quik-E Manager. Quik-E Note is suited to many a need, whether it be shopping lists, keeping track of passwords, quick reminders, or any other 'back-of-an-envelope' note.
Version 2.5.1 is a bug fixing release.
Review
This application makes it easy to create and save brief records such as to-do or grocery lists, though you can't organize them for easier access. QuikE Notes' adjustable interface offers one-click navigation to add, delete, format, and view an individual record. Basic formatting options let you customize entries, but you can't specify a title or create categories to organize them. To locate an item, you'll have to scroll through each one or use the Manager feature to view all notes with up to 32 characters of the first line displayed. The trial version only allows two notes with six lines per note, despite the promise of seven. Anyone will be able to use this simple tool to record and save short messages.
