Review
Despite the simplicity of using it, this hot key tool suffers from too many problems to be of use. Register Hot Key's very simple browse and select interface needs little introduction. That's important since the application doesn't include instructions.
Operating this application takes just a trio of steps. Select an executable using the standard browse tool. Then press your desired hot key or hot key combination with your cursor in the hot key box. Press the add button and your hot key is saved, at least temporarily. That's when your troubles begin. A display of registered hot keys fails to properly identify Control-Alt hot key combinations. Some testers also reported the program wouldn't load executables saved with a Control-Alt key combination. Most importantly, registered keys were not saved after system reboot. There is also no method to save hot key lists.
Anyone can use Register Hot Key, but few will want to keep this problematic program installed.
