The tool allows you to vary the size of the lens as well as fine-tune brightness, contrast and the color mode. Each function can be easily adjusted in one click. Zoommy also features the unique Slow Mouse mode allowing you to navigate with pinpoint accuracy.
Version 7.1 features a number of new functions.
Review
This utility effectively magnifies anything on your screen, though it slowed some of our computers during tests.
Zoommy displays the magnified area in a rectangular viewer. You easily can enlarge any area of your screen up to 20 times, simply by moving your mouse pointer. The resizable view window also displays the values of the mouse pointer's coordinates, the zoom size, and pixel colors in RGB and hexadecimal formats. You can quickly change the color mode of the magnifier to grayscale, inverted, and black and white. Convenient hot keys can be assigned to access features, to show and hide the lens, and for zooming in and out. Drag the magnification window anywhere on your screen, or dock it and let it follow the mouse pointer.
Zoommy delivers its job, though we did experience some sluggishness in using other programs while it was open. Still, Zoommy adequately provides onscreen magnification for graphic designers or even the visually impaired.
