Description
Add some good, old-fashioned charm to your desktop with Watchtastic. With its realistic look and simple design, this classy analog desktop watch not only keeps track of the time but gives some old world sophistication to today's desktop. From its right-click popup menu, you can even launch the standard Windows Date and Time Properties applet to adjust your system date and time settings. Version 1.1.2 includes unspecified updates.
Review
This free Windows clock completely lacks features, but it does bring a good deal of charm to your desktop. Watchtastic appears as an old-school pocket watch, complete with a transparent face that lets you see the gears and dials on the inside. The stopwatch itself is very nicely designed, boasting a polished, elegant appearance. However, that's really about all there is to say about Watchtastic, as it doesn't have any features whatsoever, including alarms, a syncing utility, or world-time options. Still, if you're looking to give your PC an old-timey feel, it certainly won't hurt you to try this freebie.
