Its commonplace yet functional interface displays jobs and generates easy-to-follow log files. This utility functions at par to similar programs by offering secure 128-bit encryption and fast backups of files, folders, and Outlook data. A novice-friendly four-step wizard gradually walks users through creation of backups and restoration of data. Storing backups on a local PC was quick, but preferred secure locations such as CD/DVD, LAN, or FTP servers were almost as fast. Backup scheduling options covered all the bases including every start-up, shutdown, or user-specified regular intervals. Office Backup is handy for both small-business and home users and is a quality choice for easy file backups.
