Review
This freeware tool uses RSA Public Key encryption and decryption to safeguard files and e-mails. Josuijo's deceptively simple interface will throw some users. The program's scattershot documentation fails to accurately instruct users. This isn't a privacy tool for novices.
Operating Josuijo requires experience with public key encryption methods. The application uses RSA 2048-bit encryption. Creating public keys takes only a couple of button clicks. Decryption is quickly accomplished by merely dragging the encrypted file to the interface. However, encryption is not as friendly. Users will take a few attempts to perfect the process. The program aptly handles using public key FTP sites. However, some features balk at working as noted in the Help file. Testers had particular problems getting the encryption function to work as promised.
Josuijo is not for public key encryption novices. It's poorly documented and convoluted in operation. Nevertheless, some expert encryption users may find the freeware application familiar enough for occasional use.
