Description
This programmable tool helps you create PDF documents from virtually any Windows application that supports the print command. DocuCom PDF Driver allows you to concatenate or overlay PDF pages, and to digitally sign, password-secure, or optimize and linearize PDF documents. You also can use images, text, or any PDF page as a watermark, and the program includes fully-fledged compression, font embedding, and an e-mail function.
Version 9.10 fully supports PDF 1.7 specifications and is Vista-compatible.
Review
As with other PDF-creation programs, DocuCom PDF Driver installs as a printer driver, letting you create documents in any application, then save them as PDFs using the Print command. In our tests, the program worked quickly and produced good-quality PDFs that matched our original documents. DocuCom PDF Driver offers multiple options for customizing PDF documents, from managing fonts, compressing images, setting security, and adding meta tags. It also lets you overlay watermarks. Beyond regular PDF creation, it includes the PDF Direct utility, which batch-converts documents. As a result DocuCom PDF Driver seems like a good bet for creating PDF files.
