Description
Battlejeep is a simple, quick and very addictive game. You control a rocket-armed military jeep and fight an armada of enemy helicopters. Prepare for HARD battle! Enemies have several types of helicopters and each has its own special abilities. The game has sharp graphics and battle music. Version 1.15 adds slight changes in registration scheme.
Review
Battlejeep is not a brain twister, but it is fairly amusing in its simplicity. Very easy to learn, this program puts you behind the wheel of a jeep loaded with an antiaircraft missile. Shoot down enemy helicopters before they shoot you. You (as well as your enemies) only can move back and forth horizontally, which can get boring after a while. Keep an eye out for cargo helicopters--shooting them down wins you bigger weapons. Battlejeep graphics are blocky and primitive, and it's hard not to giggle at the diminutive jeep dwarfed by what appears to be fields of mutated giant wheat. Overall, Battlejeep is not challenging but entertaining, if only briefly.
