This free program's user interface is an eyesore, and that's putting it mildly. Not only that, but the so-called divorce information it claims to offer is a sham.
Divorce Resources has an extremely garish user interface. Bright, harsh colors, and oversized buttons take over most of the window. A banner with animated text resides at the top of the window, and gave us a headache just looking at it. We tried to perform a ZIP code search for divorce and family attorneys using the program's search functionality, but the program was unable to deliver any results, even for ZIP codes that we knew were ripe with attorneys. The program also throws in mediation and divorce counseling search capabilities, but surprise, surprise, we were unable to find any after entering several ZIP codes. Also on the interface are two buttons for saving your marriage, and divorce secrets, but they took us to questionable Web sites that tried to push products rather than actually offer help.
If you are need of valuable divorce information and resources, do yourself and favor and skip this poorly constructed program. Between the bugs and the lack of useful information, Divorce Resources doesn't live up to its name at all. It may be free, but it's no bargain.
