This flexible program simplifies removing applications from your system, but fails to include some expected information. Add-Remove Master's multioption interface adapts to the user's experience. The Basic interface displays the bare minimum of commands and includes options to help ensure needed apps are not accidentally removed. While the Standard interface adds a few more functions, the Advanced interface includes almost everything an experienced user would want from a program in this genre. Switching interfaces takes just a button click.
No matter the interface, the program lists all installed applications in a simple spreadsheet-style display. Though you can click any app to get specific information, this utility fails to accurately display installation date. Adding or removing any application is a mere matter of clicking the appropriate function and following very simply instructions. The Find function searches only on Program or Publisher name. A Report Wizard helps users quickly compile and store the data for selected applications as a text file or HTML page. While the wizard is helpful, simply listing the information on the program display would be more useful.
Add-Remove Master adequately helps users uninstall apps, but it is a middle-of-the road performer at best. It is easier to use than the default Windows function, but there are programs in this genre that offer more options and can remove information and files that this app neglects. Still, novice users might like this program's simple approach.
