AutoTask 2000 is a task scheduler designed specifically for Windows. AutoTask is an extremely versatile event scheduling software that can be ran as a service or as a desktop application in the background. AutoTask has very flexible scheduling and conditional triggers for running various task. It has also the ability to run multiple commands per task, much like mini scripts or macros.

Review
This program easily automates and schedules tasks, but lacks wildcard functionality. AutoTask 2000 Task Scheduler's display resembles basic Windows three-pane menus. The application walks the user through task creation, wherein the user merely sets the trigger type, properties, and script commands. The Command Script menu lists all available commands, divided into six general categories. Scheduling is powerful and easily set, with every interval from every two minutes to once a year available. Autotask 2000 runs as a Windows service, which allows some scheduled tasks to run though the system is logged off. The program lacks useful wildcards. For example, the user must know the precise name of a window to set it to minimize or close. Novice users will find this application easy to operate, while enough options are available to satisfy advanced users. Though this program can't schedule every Windows task, all users will find it outperforms Windows' built-in Task Scheduler.
