AnyToGif allows you to convert any image to JPEG-format and edit it by rotating, stretching, cropping, and adding borders. It is easy to use and does not require any special skills. AnyToGif helps you easily convert dozens of files and work them up according to one scheme using the simple and easy-to-understand interface of the program. AnyToGif supports basic graphic formats like GIFs, BMPs, JPEGs, PCXs, PSDs, and TIFFs.
Review
This imaging program's basic editing tools seem worth more than its rather limited conversion engine. While AnyToGif does accept image formats such as JPEG, TIFF, and BMP, it can only convert files to GIFs. Before you convert pics in single or batch mode, you can make a number of simple tweaks to them. AnyToGif lets you apply text or image watermarks and determine their position; rotate shots; resize or rename images; and add borders. Sliders allow you to adjust hue, saturation, and lightness, but the tiny preview window makes it tough to perform precise edits. One thing we didn't like is that the utility placed a few extra shortcuts on our desktop without first gaining our permission. Nonprofessionals who mainly work with GIFs will find this application more useful than others.
