.NET Micro Framework SDK is a .NET implementation for very small, resource constrained devices. .NET Micro Framework SDK 4.0 added additional features such as Multi-touch, large displays, and more power management. In addition, this is the first release under an Open Source license (Apache2.0). The SDK supports the development in Visual Studio of managed code applications that run on the .NET Micro Framework runtime.
