EvJO Wallpaper Changer is a wallpaper manager that can change your background images at every startup, once a day or at regular time intervals. It features JPEG, PNG, GIF and BMP support. This program consists of several options, including an ability to change your images in random order. Just in a few minutes you can master your own desktop wallpaper.
Review
EvJO Wallpaper Changer allows you to change your computer's wallpaper at set intervals, much as many similar programs do. Although the program has some features that we were initially excited about, we found it confusing and frustrating to use.
The program's interface looks intuitive, but nothing seems to function as it's supposed to. We attempted to scan our computer for photos to use, but the program can't support subdirectories, so we couldn't access photos that were contained in folders within folders. We were excited about the program's Flickr support--it seemed that we would be able to enter tags and have relevant Flickr photos displayed on our desktop--but we couldn't get this feature to work. We could view and apply one Flickr photo at a time, but the wallpapers never actually changed. Ditto for the photos from our computer, which we finally got into the program; even though we had the change frequency set at once every minute, the wallpaper never changed. And even after we disabled the Flickr option, the program continued to use Flickr photos instead of the ones we had chosen from our computer. Could any of this have been from user error? We suppose it could have been, but we had no way of knowing, as the program does not include a Help file.
EvJO Wallpaper Changer is free, and though it installs easily, it does leave a folder behind when removed. We do not recommend this program; although it has potential, its cool features are no good when they don't work.
