Review
This program offers a mind-boggling choice of more than 400 solitaire variations. The game's simple graphics didn't drive us wild, and we found the sound effects plain annoying. Thankfully, it's easy enough to choose a game from Absolute Patience's vast library. You browse the list of games, then pick one based on parameters such as difficulty, number of decks, and skill level. We liked the Wise Man feature, which gives you helpful gameplay hints. The ability to retract a poor move also makes the learning curve a bit less steep. However, we didn't appreciate the game's tendency to redirect us to the developer's site every time we closed the application. Based solely on its colossal collection of games, we can recommend Absolute Patience to both beginners and experienced players.
