ProjectTrack Personal allows users to keep track of a variety of projects with a simple, attractive interface. This powerful program will provide users with a wide range of tools for project management.
ProjectTrack's interface is similar to that of many Microsoft Office products, meaning that most users will feel comfortable with it right off the bat. The program is organized into four sections, one for Projects, Contacts, Documents, and Companies. Within each section users can organize every possible piece of information a project might require. We especially liked the Project section, which includes an overview page with indicators for type, phase, budget status, time status, work status, resources status, and percentage complete. It's easy to change each of these indicators and thus always have an idea of where a project stands. Each project page also contains space for documents, action items, and journal entries, making it simple to keep everything in one place and find what you're looking for when you need it. The online Help file is well-written and should answer any questions users have. In addition to keeping everything organized, ProjectTrack allows users to send e-mail from within the program, eliminating the need to switch back and forth from an e-mail client. Users can also open a variety of other programs, such as Office products, from within ProjectTrack, as well as a calculator, a calendar, and a notepad.
ProjectTrack has a 30-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.
