Review
Prepare to blast your way through numerous starscapes with Lightspeed Screen Saver, a 3D screen saver that flies you through a virtual universe loaded with up to 32,000 stars.
This free software's interface is minimal, to say the least. However, anything more complicated would be extraneous. A handful of buttons let us change the screen saver modules, adjust global settings, and create our own module, as well as get help. As for creating modules, the interface is overly complicated and even a bit overwhelming. But since Lightspeed Screen Saver offers a large number of modules to choose from, it's doubtful you'll need to create your own. The default setting is for a module called Anti-Light 4, which appears very elementary. However, other modules, like Hyper-Cluster, offered more impressive graphics. We recommend setting the timer to 0; otherwise you're flipped back to the default Anti-Light 4 setting. One cool feature that Lightspeed Screen Saver offers is the ability to interact with the module. With a simple click, you can move and rotate the graphics.
Lightspeed Screen Saver is easy to install and just as easy to uninstall. It doesn't require you to register or enter any personal information, nor does it need a username or password. If you're tired of the same old generic screen saver, check out Lightspeed Screen Saver.
