Description

ImpactEdge is a business analytics software that collates, analyses and presents information. It is created for the business user, as it is intuitive and easy to use. It provides a non-technical user interface and operates with point and click delivery straight out of the box, bypassing the need for specialist IT skills--and no need for a data warehouse. It will request data from more or less any database technology as well as Excel spreadsheets and many other widespread sources of information, which can then be analysed instantly in one place. This is achieved through the use of an In-Memory Database, an extensive formula and summary environment, and advanced modelling through PowerApps.

The program enables a user to streamline their processes, as data can be selected at source, then instantly collated, analysed and presented. Information can be refreshed throughout the program allowing response to information in real-time, and then presented as a results set via instant production of reports, using its in-built report generator. This enables the user to respond quickly and accurately to events as they unfold.

ImpactEdge is kept up-to-date via automated software and release upgrades. It aims to work seamlessly within any organisation, as it is a desktop application with a minimum footprint, and causes no disruption to existing systems. It has been designed with the future in mind as it has a fully extensible platform that can be expanded in various ways; by plug-ins such as new sources of information and formula functions, through the use of the Software Development Kit, or by purchasing individually designed PowerApps. PowerApps can be individually tailored to any clients needs, and can provide a number of functions ranging from graphical representations of data to advanced business models.
