Description
Keeps the clock of your computer accurate by obtaining the exact time from one of the available atomic clock servers. It also allows setting the TimeZone from the program, so traveling with a laptop adjusts to the local time with a click. SetClock is also an alarm clock waking you up with your favorite music, a Hebrew/Gregorian Calendar showhing the Jewish Holidays. Calculates Yahrzeit (the death date by the Jewish Calendar) dates. WorldClock showing the exact time in major cities of the world.
Review
While this tiny executable admirably performs its main duty of synchronizing your PC's clock with the atomic clock, some of its other features don't work as well as they should. After installation, SetClock displays the system time and the official time and allows you to manually synchronize your clock. It writes to the system tray, so right-click the tray icon to set a wake-up alarm, select audio files to be played, change time zones, set an time interval for clock synchronization, and surf to a Web site to view the current times of cities worldwide, among other options. However, in our tests, we could not trigger the alarm nor did our selected audio files play. Despite the glitches, if you're looking for a simple utility to keep your computer clock accurate, SetClock will do the trick.
