Shacast Communicator is an innovative implementation of a soft phone that allows you to collaborate with up to 6 participants using powerful features such as application sharing, power point presentation, file sharing, remote access, multi-party video calls, etc...
Unlike other competing solutions, Shacast does not require any external servers or services and all your connections are established and authenticated by your very own PBX(IP). As a result, you have full control over your network and no monthly payment to pay.
Another innovative feature of Shacast is its innovative P2P technology. After SIP connections are established, a P2P network is automatically formed among participating nodes. This makes Shacast an ideal solution to support home commuters since Shacast can leverage the Internet bandwidth available from the homes in order to reduce the load at the corporate network.
