Purple Parrot Font Viewer provides information about the screen and printer fonts installed on your computer. The program also provides the ability to view different sizes and effects for each font, and the ability to view text that you type to see how it appears. In addition, the program gives the option to print a single font, to type some text then switch between fonts/sizes/effects to see the differences, or to compare the appearance of all fonts in a summary-type view.

This simple font viewer lets users effortlessly preview their computer's installed fonts, though the lack of a help file or terms dictionary may disappoint some users. PPP Font Viewer has a clean and intuitive interface that includes a Details window that displays font properties and input areas that let users type in text, then view samples using selected fonts. Preview options include Size, Bold, Italics, Strikethrough, and Underline. The font Summary button displays a quick comparison tool with a complete listing of font styles and there's a Print option so users can view how the selection looks on hard copies. The Options button lets users set this program as the default tool for printing and font viewing. This shareware application has a nag screen with a 10-second delay on start-up, but the program is fully functional. We suggest this tool for users who want more control over font selection.
