Description
KeyPass is a password manager that types your passwords for you. It works with any browser or application. It does not write anything in the registry, so it can be run off USB flash drives and works on any PC without installation. The database is encrypted using 448-bit Blowfish, and a single master password is required to unlock the passwords in the database. Use it to store sensitive information such as passwords, credit information, and PINs.

Though some sections don't consistently perform, this minor password keeper quickly recalls personal information. KeyPass' plain but functional interface simplifies storing user IDs, passwords, credit card numbers, and other personal data for Web forms. At its most flexible, KeyPass can call up any of three browsers to select from when launching Web addresses from the system tray icon. Testing proved the program inconsistent. The program promises to automatically insert passwords and IDs, giving immediate access to Web sites. However, it didn't work consistently. However, the specified hot key sequence worked to display a pop-up menu of the passwords and other data stored for quick selection. KeyPass scored points for its automatic password data backup feature. The program security options were beneficial, especially locking the application after a specified time. The password generator is a handy little bonus. Accurate testing is possible even with the mere 10 entries allowed during the trial. Novice users looking for a simple password retention program will find KeyPass helpful.
