Review
This simple utility schedules computer shutdown, but only offers up to a two-hour delay. Delayed Shutdown has a simple interface with a slider to indicate delay time before shutdown occurs, and a start/stop button. You can set the delay time for a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of two hours. When activated, a countdown timer displays the minutes and seconds until shutdown. You won't be prompted before shutdown, so you'll lose any unsaved data in open applications. Delayed Shutdown doesn't offer scheduling options for a specific time or day, or have other shutdown actions such as logoff or reboot. This ultrasimplistic shutdown scheduler is easy enough for anyone to use, but there are other options on the market with more flexible scheduling options.
