Description
Vista Manager is a software tool to tweak, optimize, maintain and tune up your Windows Vista. It includes over thirty different utilities. It will help your system to be stable, fast, secure and personal. Tweak your system to improve windows startup and shutdown speed; tweak your hardware to increase system performance. Vista Manager finds and clean junk files, searches your computer for duplicated files, checks registry and repairs incorrectly linked registry entries, defrag Registry to reduce application response time, controls what is started on Windows startup, tune up Vista boot menu, set context menus of mouse right clicking, enable numerous hidden performance options, disable system updates and error reports, hide and restrict access to drives, and specify which applications are not allowed to be executed. Vista Manager has a topnotch, easy-to-use user interface that requires no technical knowledge.
Review
Vista Manager opens a nicely designed interface that's easy to navigate and tasteful. The tools in this package are comprehensive, with a set of utilities organized under each category: system info, optimizer, cleaner, customization, security, network, and miscellaneous doodads.
Vista Manager performed well in our tests. It quickly grabbed system info about hardware and software components, and we especially liked that it listed each installed video and audio codec. We were able to export the log easily to an HTML file. The Process Manager displayed far greater detail than its Windows counterpart, with a more useful presentation in a directory tree that provided filename, path, manufacturer, user, PID, and digital signature. We also liked that we could set a process' priority for running and watch CPU usage in real time.
This package of goodies offers a robust feature set that should please any level of user. The trial period is brief, but adequate.
