Description

XCenter bridges the gap between the mainframe dataset architecture and Windows file systems. Now you can easily upload and download files; Browse mainframe files and view critical attributes such as DSORG, LRECL, RECFM, VOLSER, MEMBER, TTR, and SIZE;

Submit, browse, and manage JES job outputs; And manage PDS datasets on the mainframe.

What can you do with XCenter?

Core FTP Functionality:

Transfer mainframe datasets or PDS members to PC;

Upload PC files to mainframe dataset or PDS members.

Mainframe Browsing Functionality:

Browse by dataset name, volume(VOLSER), organization(DSORG), record format (RECFM), logical record length (LRECL) and last referred date;

Browse by member name, VVMM, size, USERID, and the last changed in a partitioned datasets (PDS);

Browse load modules with member name, size, TTR, alias, AC, AMODE and RMODE;

Browse JES outputs with job name, job id, owner and status.

JES and Submit Job Functionality:

Download JES output to PC;

Submit a Job with a JCL in PC file format;

Browse the list of jobs by Jobname, Status, and Owner;

Browse the Job output;

Delete the Job output in mainframe;

Print the Job output from the mainframe to your local printer.

Dataset Functionality:

Allocate a dataset in the mainframe;

Delete a dataset;

View or Print a dataset.

PDS Functionality:

Allocate a PDS member in the mainframe;

Delete a PDS member;

View or Print a PDS member.
