Description
FootieFox extension for Mozilla Firefox brings soccer to your browser. Be up to date with your favorite league just as with many international cups, including the World Cup. No matter what you're occupied with at your computer, FootieFox informs you about current matches and every goal scored.
Review
This free Firefox add-on gives live soccer match and score updates, but some of the menu layout options just didn't work.
FootieFox is found on the lower-right corner of your browser window and shows current games and scores. The program lets you select which league or teams to monitor and automatically updates the scores. Unlike similar apps, FootieFox doesn't offer other soccer-related news updates or streaming audio, and it's not clear where the program retrieves its information. There's an option to display kickoff time or team title, but these options failed to work in our tests.
FootieFox includes some pretty superficial features, and die-hard fans are better off with a more comprehensive program to give them their soccer fix.
