Description

DupeTrooper is a tool for locating and managing duplicate files, on disk, across networks, or even offline files. It has virtually every feature imaginable to maximize your ability to find those redundant files and reduce wasted disk space. Features include multiple file type filtering for searching for matches of specific types of files, multiple directory and subdirectory match searching including network drives, MP3 header searching, concise and clean interface, optional pop-up descriptors are available for every feature so even beginners can easily become a DupeTrooper expert, detailed help files for each screen accessible with the click of the ? button at the top-right, ability to use text files with lists of file extensions to efficiently identify whole genres of files to search, ability to compare to a list of filenames in a text file, user-configurable minimum word size used in comparisons, easily navigate your matches with intelligent features to optimize your efforts and remove as much tedium as possible, and generate a comma-delimited (Excel-compatible) report file, complete with all the actions you performed for each match.
