Description

SCOT makes it possible to access Javascript objects from .Net programs. Developer can

use full features to program rich application. C# and Vb.Net are primary languages, but

actually there are lot of programming languages, that could be used with Scot library.

Building and executing application can be made by the very same manner, than any other

window application. Scot-library gives possibility to give an instant feedback from any

action that user does in the browser. Applications could be executed on different platforms.

There is only needed W3C HTML 5 compatible browser and no need to install any

additional plugins on browser. Scot has been tested with latest versions of common

browers.

Scot is also compatible with existing web servers. There is need to add single line to HTML

page to bootstrap Scot:

(script type="text/javascript" src="Hello.vb")(/script)

One line of script constructs new Hello class instance and connects it to browser. Class

uses browser for output display and it can take control over input devices like mouse

and keyboard.

Scot allows to use also other Javascripts on html pages. It can be used as an additional

method to build rich application for browers.

Scot web application can be executed as standalone service on any .Net capable computer. Scot library has integrated thread control to allow to serve multiple clients at the same time. There is easy to build applications for single user, and it's also offers way to interactive multiuser applications, like chat, games etc.

Scot can give an ideal way to distribute applications on intranet, and also in internet.
