Description
Gantt Chart is extremely easy-in-use project plan system. This system allows you to specify complex tasks sequences - a task or multiple tasks can be required to be completed before other tasks can be started. You can edit task dependencies, create new task connectors and re-schedule individual tasks. The program has data import and export.
Review
Gantt Chart is a simple tool for organizing a personal schedule. Its easy operation and familiar look will help anyone juggling a lot of events and appointments.
The program's interface was instantly comforting. Using a similar setup and color scheme to Microsoft Outlook, we intuitively navigated through even the program's non-Outlook elements. The program's default layout gave us a large bar-chart-style planner outlining our events and their times. Daily appointments were a breeze to schedule, thanks to the wizard-like menu detailing everything from time, place, and percentage of the task complete. We were also happy that the program's reminder was impossible to miss; it jumped across our screen at exactly the right time. Another aspect we loved was its different looks, whether it was a month-long view of events or a text-based schedule of events. All the program's views showed our schedule differently, but each was easy to understand. The program also offered an interesting special feature that synchronized our Outlook schedule with Gantt, so no data was lost transferring from one to the other.
Gantt Chart offers a 14-day trial. It installs desktop icons without permission and leaves behind folders after uninstall. We highly recommend this program.
