WeatherEye is The Weather Networks free desktop weather application providing live, current conditions for most cities around the world right on your PC desktop. Now WeatherEye is even better with new features such as weather alerts, weather tracking for up to three different cities and short and long-term forecast information on most major cities around the world right from your desktop. With over 5,000 cities available in Canada, the United States and Internationally, you can always stay up to date with weather conditions at home and around the world.
Review
The free but seriously limited WeatherEye offers basic weather reports for cities around the world. Before launching the program, you need to provide your e-mail address and select the city for which you want the current conditions. The small main interface displays the temperature, the barometric pressure, the humidity, and the wind conditions.
The system-tray icon shows the current temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. You can view information for up to three cities at a time. It's better than sticking your head out a window, but unless you constantly monitor the weather day in and day out, we think you'll do just as well to get the same information online.
