Description
The Edmonton Symptom Assessment System (ESAS) was developed and validated for inpatient use by Edmonton Zone Palliative Care Program (formerly called The Regional Palliative Care Program). This app allows the scale to be used to monitor palliative patients in the home via remote data entry. The app can be installed on iPad running iOS 5.0 with access to the internet. Data can be uploaded to an appropriately configured server (contact [email protected] for more information). Appropriate care providers can view the data for trends that allow interventions to be tailored to identifiable patient need.
