Description
Utility helps to change attributes of different files and directories. It allows to change attributes of a group of files at once (the amount is not limited). It can also modify any date noted in characteristics of the files of creation, last modified, and last access dates.
Review
Change Attributes handles batch-modification of file attributes on the fly, but this freeware isn't a stand-alone program. The basic interface contains only a few tick boxes and dropdown buttons, and proves easy to understand despite the missing Help file. It's a simple process to change the date and time the file was created, modified, and last accessed. You also can set the file attributes to archive, read-only, hidden, and system. In our tests, Change Attributes performed fast, and we were impressed with the capability to change the attributes of folders as well. However, Change Attributes only works as an add-on for Useful File Utilities. If you already have the main program, Change Attributes is an easy-to-use and no-cost way to modify file and folder attributes.
