Description
Catlateral Damage is a first-person destructive cat simulator where your goal is to knock as many of your owner's possessions onto the ground as possible. It is currently in alpha and being created in Unity by Chris Chung. The full version will include additional levels, lots of objects to swat at, and more!

Catlateral Damage for Mac lets you control a cat from a first-person point of view, challenging you to knock down as many household items as you can within a limited time. The gameplay proves to be quite fun and addictive so long as you use a mouse or joystick. In terms of graphical and sound effects, however, the app leaves much to be desired.
When launched, Catlateral Damage for Mac presents you with a settings window where you can choose the level of graphical detail, screen resolution, and keyboard controls. You can optionally play in a window or have the settings screen hidden the next time you run the game. The graphics are a bit of a letdown; even the highest level of detail looks unrefined. When you begin the game, you will be placed in a room and given two minutes to knock to the floor as many items as you can, scoring points along the way. The premise may seem silly, but the game is fun. The points don't serve much of a purpose, though, since, as of this version, there's no leaderboard.
If you like fast-paced action games but are not overly fond of shooters or fighting simulators, a title like Catlateral Damage for Mac may appeal to you. The easy-to-learn controls, coupled with the intuitive objective, make the game accessible to kids as well as grown-ups. If graphic quality is important to you, however, you might find Catlateral Damage to be too bland.
